Halloween Spooktacular, Lighted Boat Parade and Afterparty:   Open to all boats, let your imagination run wild and create your Halloween masterpiece.  Open to all types of boats and to club members and non-members alike.  Parade will be followed by an afterparty full of fun, food and prizes for best boats in various categories including Spookiest, Most Wattage, Most Imaginative and more.  There is no charge for the parade or the afterparty. However, for planning purposes registration is required to enter the parade and to attend the afterparty.   

The club grounds (outside only) will be open to the public for parade viewing beginning at 6:30 pm until the end of the parade.  Hot cider and treats will be on hand.  Children are encouraged to wear their costumes.  

The Afterparty will begin est. 7:30 with food served est. 8:00 to allow parade participants to return from docking their boats.  It is open to all club members whether participating in the parade or not.  All non-members who participated in the parade are also welcome.  There will be great food, home-made desserts and soft drinks.  It is BYOB.  There is no charge

For planning purposes Registrationis is required for both the parade and for the after-party.  The parade will start just after sunset in the South fork of Carters Creek just East of Custom Yachts.  Look for the decorated docks surrounding the assembly area.  Boats should gather no later than 6:30 pm.  Parade Route: boats will travel past the RRYC docks where judging will occur and up to Tides Inn.  Participants will be safely guided by RRYC boats.  We can make arrangements for overnight dockage if you need.  Complete and comprehensive instructions will be emailed to each skipper in advance of the event.
