Halloween Spooktacular Decorated Boat Parade:   Open to all boats, let your imagination run wild and create your Halloween masterpiece.  Open to all types of boats and to club members and non-members alike.  Parade will be followed by an afterparty full of fun, food and prizes for best boats in various categories including Spookiest, Best Costumes, Most Imaginative, and more. 

The club grounds (outside only) will be open to the public for parade viewing beginning at 4:15 pm until the end of the parade.  Hot cider and treats will be on hand.  Children are encouraged to wear their costumes.  

For planning purposes, Registration is required independently for both the parade and for the Afterparty.  Participating boats will meet at the Eastern Branch of Carter's Creek near Custom Yacht Service.  Look for the decorated docks surrounding the assembly area.  Boats should gather no later than 4:15 pm. 

Parade Route: boats will travel past the RRYC docks where judging will occur and up to Tides Inn.  Participants will be safely guided by RRYC boats. Complete and comprehensive instructions will be emailed to each skipper in advance of the event.  

The Afterparty will begin est. 6:00 pm to allow parade participants to return from docking their boats.  All non-members who participated in the parade are welcome to the Afterparty.  There will be great food, home-made desserts and soft drinks.  It is BYOB.  There is a separate registration and $20 charge for the Afterparty.
